Do not go to events. Do not go out in general. Stay home as much as you can. We understand this is not an option for everyone. But if you can stay home, you must stay home to help those folks who cannot lower their risk. If you can be indoors, be indoors. Go out for groceries and other absolutely necessary trips only.
So, turns out last week was the last time we could feel okay recommending fun community events to attend, because there’s a pandemic and our current administration’s response to it consists entirely of graft and racism.
We’re transitioning from “Find Local Events, Support Local Creators” to “Just Support Local Creators” for a while. We’ll keep updating with places you can do that by purchasing their work. For now check the Valley Creators page! Remember your neighbors. A lot of folks are going to be hurting both directly and because of the aftershocks. If you’ve got anything to spare, give it to the people who don’t.
