First! Local Creator KC Green has an excellent new comic, Me And You. It’s available here! Also by clicking on the title in the sentence prior to the previous sentence. It’s about birds, and old-fashioned exaggerated cartoon violence.

February 10th – 16th

Head over to OEB Science Cafe this week [Thursday the 13th from 6PM – 7PM at the Nacul Center, 592 Main St., Amherst MA] to find out about Fire! Fire, our dearest friend, or most cunning foe. Fire, warm which is nice but also VERY warm which is bad! This is mostly about specifically how it relates to wider ecosystems and what it can do for good or ill. Also this is just a great line “Join Dr Emily Fusco and George LoCascio as we discuss the past, present, and future of fire.” It sounds like a class at a wizard academy. Also free food is there!

February 3rd – 9th

Oh! And definitely take the chance to head to Amherst Cinema this week and see the new Color out of Space movie starring Nicolas Cage, we’ve heard nothing but interesting things about it. Nic Cage and cosmic horror, what’s not to like?
